Consulting Intern (m/f/d)

Munich

This internship in renewable energy consulting offers you the opportunity to get involved in strategy projects, analyses, and M&A processes at Green M&A right from the start.

About us

Are you passionate about renewable energy and looking for a challenging internship?

Would you like to help companies achieve strategic growth through targeted strategic analysis and acquisitions?

Are you ready to take on responsibility from day one and enjoy a high degree of autonomy?

Then an internship in our M&A and management consulting practice might be just the right fit for you!

We focus primarily on sell-side M&A advisory for renewable energy generation facilities—such as biogas plants—as well as strategic management consulting for green industries. We are a founding team that combines many years of consulting experience with deep technical expertise in the energy market—because this is the only way we can provide our clients with the best possible advice.

With us, you’ll be involved in exciting M&A projects from the very start and work side-by-side with the founding team. This means you won’t have to hide behind PowerPoint presentations, but will present to clients alongside us, taking on responsibility for the overall success of our company!

Your responsibilities

  • General support for our consulting team on strategic projects
  • Conducting research on markets, trends, and competitors
  • Performing various analyses, such as feasibility studies
  • Developing information memoranda
  • Preparing project documentation and presentations
  • Contributing to the growth of our young company through various initiatives

What you bring with you

  • At least 3 months of availability starting in early April 2026
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Initial professional experience gained through at least one internship, ideally in strategic consulting with a focus on the energy sector
  • (Very) good academic performance
  • Strong affinity for data and numbers
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Interest in renewable energy
  • Very good German and English language skills
  • Analytical and structured thinking, ability to work independently and goal-oriented, high level of self motivation
  • Open personality, social skills, and a sense of humor

What we offer you

  • Significant responsibility from day one: You’ll work directly with the founders
  • A high degree of autonomy: We focus on results, not hours worked
  • Remote work: You can work from home two days a week
  • A relaxed, fun-loving atmosphere with friendly colleagues and regular team events
  • Competitive compensation
  • Opportunity for a full-time position after the internship ends

Interested? Then we look forward to receiving your application materials (CV, transcripts, and a brief statement of 3–4 sentences explaining your motivation and availability)! Please send them directly to mpf@m-a.green!
